The Lansdowne Kenmare Friday Open
The Lansdowne Kenmare Friday Open is a brilliant way to start your weekend.
The competition runs every Friday from May 8th with a Grand Final on Sept 25th. The top 3 qualify for the final each week, and there are excellent prizes each week for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
The format is: 18 Holes, Stableford, with men playing from white tees and ladies playing from red. The competition is open to men and women, with a valid golf handicap.
We play in 3-balls, at 10 minute intervals, meaning play is quick – expect to finish your round within 3.5 hours. The white course is 5700 yards; buggies are available to book, but this is a manageable and scenic course to walk.
The course is located right in the town of Kenmare, less than 3 minutes from great locations such as The Lansdowne Kenmare. We encourage non-golfers to come along, and spend an afternoon exploring Kenmare. There’s loads of parking at the Golf Club, a nice bar & restaurant, and Ireland’s nicest town is there to explore.
